Canvas Production

Summary Description:

Our Canvas Production department is currently seeking a laborer. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various handling and machine operation tasks using mechanical or electrical equipment, as well as various tools, to facilitate canvas production operations.

Specific Responsibilities

• Processes information related to plans, specifications, and drawings;
• Cuts and lays out canvas on the floor;
• Operates the canvas and floor sealer;
• Operates various pneumatic machines;
• Transports materials using a forklift;
• Uses a sewing machine to sew different canvases;
• Follows current and required workplace safety standards, wears mandatory safety glasses, safety boots, earplugs or earmuffs for noise, gloves, and any other equipment required for the task.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completed High School Diploma;
• 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment;
• Able to work in uncomfortable positions (e.g., bending, crouching, etc.);
• Ease with teamwork;
• Manual dexterity and speed;
• Organization and method;
• Attention to detail
